I digitizing software must be able to make quality digitizing, software that support manual digitizing nicely are my favorite, thats the key factor i think.

Besides that i think that the software should be able to save various multiple file formats, as each machine has different needs of formats.

I hope this answers your question. If you need more info .. please be a bit more precise.
