It is preliminarily suspected that the intake valve is not closed tightly, because when the machine is unloaded, the pressure will rise slowly, and sometimes the high pressure alarm will stop! Moreover, after the shutdown, there are still some residual pressures in the machine that can not be discharged (about 6kg), resulting in the overload of the main engine when the machine is started again.
When the screw air compressor inlet valve belongs to the normally open inlet valve, the solenoid valve is open when the screw air compressor is not loaded, and the solenoid valve is closed after the compressor is loaded. When the solenoid valve is opened, there will be a path of gas to close the intake valve, but it cannot be completely closed, and the intake space should be reserved to maintain the minimum pressure required for compressor lubrication, which is generally 1.5bar; after the solenoid valve is closed, the compressor will enter the normal working state until it reaches the set working pressure, which depends on the user.
The intake valve has two pipes, one for venting, the other for discharging the residual gas in the valve to ensure the normal loading of the compressor. When unloading, the current is too high, which means that the tank pressure is high and the opening tip of air inlet valve is large. Please adjust the vent screw to ensure that the tank pressure is not too high.
After the screw air compressor is shut down, the tank pressure can be completely drained in about 60 seconds, i.e. the pressure is 0, and your tank pressure still has 6 bar, indicating that there is a problem in the vent pipeline of the intake valve:
The pipeline diameter may be too thin;
Whether the orifice of combination valve is too small or blocked by sundries.
After unloading, the pressure will rise back and forth slightly, but this is only needed for balance, and the time is very short. It will not rise to high pressure shutdown. The high pressure shutdown should be caused by the problem of air compressor solenoid valve. Please check whether it is in good condition and can work normally. No matter what kind of inlet valve, the tank pressure should be kept between 1.0 and 2.0bar during unloading. Too high for screw air compressor energy is a great waste.
The reason and solution of screw air compressor's intake valve can't be opened
The air inlet valve of screw air compressor is a component to control the air pressure in the air storage tank. The commonly used air inlet valve has a rotating disc structure and a reciprocating valve plate mechanism. The disc or valve plate is used to open or close the air inlet to control the air flow into the head.
There are two control modes: one is switch. When the pressure of the air tank reaches the set value of high limit, close the air inlet, and when the pressure drops to the set value of low limit, reopen the air inlet. The other is that when the air tank reaches a certain pressure, the rotating disc will close the air inlet slightly under the control of the proportional valve. When the pressure of the air tank increases further, the air inlet will be further reduced. When the pressure of the air tank decreases slightly, the air inlet will be increased to stabilize the pressure in a certain range. When the pressure does not reach the regulating pressure, the disc of the intake valve is fully open and the air inlet is fully open.

1. The water in the control pipeline is too much, and the control pipeline shall be maintained every day.
2. The intake valve works in error; check the cylinder, valve sleeve and other components, and replace them if necessary.
