Needle size

Could someone please advise what size/type needle to embroider onto a very thick karate belt. Thanks. mino

I would use a 75/11 and slow the machine down. That is what I do for hats and I would imagine that a belt would not be as tough.

Thanks for info. Sorry I haven't replied before now, couldn't get the site for a while. Anyway, did it fine..belts twice if not 3 times thicker than hats but was amazed needle went through without breaking or getting stuck. These embroidery machines never cease to amaze me. Just loving the whole thing! Cheers, mino
