software for 64-bit Vista???

i'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. i tried to install Wilcom ES 9 but the OS wasn't too happy about trying to run it. I'm not at all familiar with Vista so i'm looking into trying to boot up in 32-bit or i'm hoping someone can tell me a good digitizing program that'll run in 64-bit. or point out something obvious that i'm missing. thanks in advance!

These two definitely run on Vista 64:
Gis BasePac
Tajima DG/ML by Pulse

I'm using the first one on a Vista 64 Business for about a year now, and apart for some floppy drive compatibility issues, it runs like a clock.
Pulse's software, atleast the latest 2009 version, is Vista 64 certified as it is.

If you have Vista 64 installed, and your software won't run because it can only run on 32bit OS, you can't do anything about it - there are no glitches, hacks or fixes or options to run Vista in 32bit mode. Only option would be to buy a 32bit Vista OS.
