Manipulating jpegs...?
Several times I have heard that Paint Shop Pro is the program to use to clean up a jpeg. I downloaded the latest trial version which is 10. However, it seems to be more about photo editing.
I don't mind purchasing a program but want to be sure that this is the one I should be using. |

Hi,
Paint Shop pro is a good program to clean up jpeg artwork. Most of the artwork are logos that re made up of vectoes and thus have only several solid colours. Cleaning up such arwork is not very hard & paintshop pro has the tools to do it. If you are looking into something advanced with filters and advanced tools PhotoShop is the right software. Talker. |

why are you cleanig up the jpg and what is the final output going on? for the money @$500 dollars the corel x3 suite comes with a photo editor , a trace and a vector graphic program. a lot of value for the money. but if you are just working in bitmaps Photoshop is widely used and training is easy to find.
