hello,
its just strange to compare different digitizing softwares. It seems you want to compare different brands of automobiles.. Some of you probably never heard "Ford" and "Fiat".. but they exist into different far location from yours. So people use them as you use your "Mercedes" or "Craysler" or "Suzuki". That means all around the world do drive cars and do move where they want. Digitizing with different softwares gives all of us to make designs, so that means all the programs realy do their job - to give specific ways of creation embroidery objects ( and then generate them) incl a lot of options to make our "driving" more comfortable. If one want to have another software and compare, he will notice that so many ways of creation are absolutly the same as his own "old" one soft. But anyway, he will for sure notice at the very first moment the essential difference coming with the new one. Could be positive, could be negative. The most friendly software for me is... what i use - its Wilcom. Have been trying for a while Compucon, but thats not for me.. have been trying Siera, but not for me.. Been seen Tajima by Pulse but not ok for me.. It was just for a little while ok, but what i have noticed is that nowhere I can find the functionality of Wilcom. Yes its a profesional, all the others are too, but what I prefer is what I use. Like all around the world steal know-how, technology, maybe at recent days different softwares have become much more the same as it was 5 years ago. Like into other industries, like making printers, tv's, autos, they goes to one same direction - to make our life easier - it doesnt mean it could be made with absolutly different technologies. It's just one effective technology and all around the world keep using it during the time of creation next "new" models. Just one of companies can create the effective way of making things remain very best. Wilcom have nothing essentialy changed in last years to their own products, but it still stay for me the very best. It means technology is been created already about 7 or 9 years ago. There are only tew things that they must descover if they want to be the "Mercedes" - some small things that are still missing into their new "car" ![]() Thanks you spend that time with reading my post. regards |

I've been working with Embird for the last 6 years and with some of the other Programs like Wilcom and Baruden. Only heard of wings though. Though Wilcom has alot more functions for me it's a little complicated Embird has provided me with most of what I need to digitize and a bit easier to understand. All I can say is I can pretty much do any thing with my $700 Embird than most can do with their $9,000 Wilcom software.
