MasterWorks Software

I realize that there is a difference between digitizing for commercial use and for home embroidery and that the level of the software is probably different, too.

I got a free 30 days trial disk for MasterWorks by Designers Gallery. I don't want to install the trial until I have some free time, but I did run the DVD Demonstration video. This program really looks intriguing!

Does anyone here actually USE this software for digitizing, and if so, could you give me your opinions? I currently use PEDesign6 and am very pleased with it, but it looks like MasterWorks has several features that are not in PEDesign. The downside is that it looks like alot of it is more automated, although you can get into the stitching to edit it.

TIA,
Candace

Materworks Lite

I just received the CD of the trial version. I did not receive the DVD tutorial mentioned above. Does anyone know how I can get one?

And does anyone know how much this software costs? It is nowhere to be found on their website; I don't like that.

Thanks

i believe, depending on what options you want, the price can range between $900 to $1800 USD.
