Motif?
Hi. I'm new to digitizing. I've only been doing it a couple of months and am learning it by trial and error. The way I tend to learn most programs. So far, I'm a quick study. I've done lots of designs and they're all cute and really good I've been told. However, I'm getting sick of just doing "solid colors". I wanna be able to add a little style and flare to my designs.
So... I've been fighting with the motif thing. I haven't won though. What I want to do (which I'm pretty sure requires motif) is to make "bricks" with the thread. Like a stone wall or a brick building and have the thread do that without having to "draw" bricks. Can anyone help me defeat this thing? |

I'd suggest you indicate what digitizing system you are using and maybe someone else in the forum has the same one, and knows the formula to use. It is possible your system does not haave this feature. Contact the person or company that sold it to you to see if they can help.
My system allows me to make a pattern by changing the stitch angle and lines to create a golf ball effect, cordoroy, tire track etc. |
