Hi, Talker. I'm new to Dtalk and I own Masterworks II and Palette 6.0. The Palette software is fun and pretty easy to work with for someone just starting out, but the owners manual is difficult to navigate and extremely redundant. I have the same problem with the Masterworks manual but it is considerably better than the other.

Once I figure out what the software can do I think I'm going to love Masterworks. But if you do download the trial version, which allows you 30 days to try it out, I would love to hear what you think about it.

I'd be interested in hearing what this Masterworks II software can do as well. I bought the Wilcom es5 and I'm so over my head it is not funny. I'm thinking I should have purchased a digitizing software with less capabilities and someone who could teach me the basics of digitizing before jumping in so deep.

MasterWorksII

Hi All I have used masterworks 1 & 2. You will find that masterworks 2 has new features that are really nice over masterworks 1. I'm not an expert by any means but I also own Viking 4D software and find using masterworks 2 for lettering much nicer. There was just a upgade released for masterworks 2 if you have the older version. I found the masterworks 2 manual a little hard to follow, but if you get the CD's for learning they are great and show thing the manual tried to explain. Good luck you will like the things you can do with masterworks 2.
