Blending threads and using gradient

I need some help with this design I'm working on. I've been digitizing for 21 years and I suck at blends, probably because I've haven't had to do too many. This one has me stumped. Anybody? I can email you the design.

Which type of logo do you have and if you need some verbal help i can help you out and if you need to send us a design . you can check it out our website .........
