Threading Needles - Old Eyes!

Okay, so I've been fortunate to have enjoyed excellent eyesight for the last 56 years. Threading up our 3 head 9 needle embroidery machine has been no problem, just time consuming.

Now, I'm finding it a real chore! My eyesight isn't as good and I'm just wondering if there are any accessories out there that can make this job easier?

I know the usual wire hoops but I just wondered if there's anything better - maybe designed for multi-head, multi-needle machines.

Cheers

John

It is said, if you wet the eye of the needle, it attracts the thread and pulls it in. have not tried it myself.

try putting white fabric below where you thread the needles. This has helped me. It is a simple solution

I'm young and threading the needle is really killer on my eyesight! I have to squint to get the thread through!

Sometime I wet my fingers and moisen the thread. Thats the oldest trick I know of!
