whats is the number of designs a professional embroider ( with multi head or single head machines) needs to get digitized ?
i am asking the number of desings as well as the total stich count of the desings required by him in a week or a months time ? Also do most embroiders have a in house digitizer or they look for some contract digitizers ? what is the gerenal rate of digitization what embroiders pay for the digitization of designs? What kind of embroiders go in for digitisation of specific designs ? thanks in anticipation of ur help EMbpro |

Depending on business,of course, but in a week we digitize maybe 10 to 15 designs. Our digitizing is done in house, and the stitch count varies upon design. Some weeks you get full jacket back designs which can run in the 60,000 area, or just a left chest name with 1500 stitches. We dont out source so I am not familiar with that stuff. Hope this helps.

can i ask how many machiens do u talk about when u say u get around 10-15 designs digitized in a week . also how much do u run a particular design well u dont outsource ur work as of now but if u get an option that saves ur cost and give u the same quality and takes away all ur digitization worries would u be keen to go for it ? if u dont mind can i also know whats ur digitization bill per week even when u talk of inhouse digitization , EMBPRO |

No, we feel we get better control of the pattern with it digitized in house. With experienced people we can control the sew. If we didnt have that option, we would be at the mercy of the digitizer and the fabric. Single computer for digitization.

less hassles
you are right in talking about ample control u enjoy in the case of in house digitization
but u also save on time and cost if u go in for contract digitization and if it assures good quality and a quick turn around time doesnt it saves a lot on ur worries ? embpro |

Well I dont think digitizing is a hassle, it also helps you better understand the embroidery process. Whenever you are involved in all aspects of a project,it gives you a better perspective of the big picture.
