Does sewing speed effects the embroidery quality?

Hi,

I'm wondering if the sewing speed makes any huge effect on the embroidery quality? Especially on the commercial multi head machine. At what speed are you using? I'm always sewing at around 680 rpm to 700 rpm. The works come out kind of untidy and not smooth with a little bit pucker comparing to other embroiderer works on the same design (same machine file). I know I can try it myself, I did a few time but I think the outputs are almost similar to me.

Thank you.

I have run different orders at different speeds over the past couple of years just to find that exact same answer..to tell you the truth I cannot tell a difference.

We have a Janome MB4 and we don't see any differance between 400 and 800 SPM.
