Thumbs up Another new kid on the block

Found this site today while looking to see whether there were any courses for digitizing. It seems to be packed with ideas and knowledge - being largely self taught, there's so much we don't know and we're certainly learning the hard way. It is, however, rewarding when a design comes together!

We are currently working with a Janome Digitizer Pro program - the price of industry quality software is so prohibitive - and it's pretty good as far as we know (which isn't much, I have to say). It works for us, anyway. Anyone out there have any suggestions for a user friendly piece of software which gives good results (I know, garbage in, garbage out) for which we don't have to take out another mortgage? We have been thinking about Deco Suite because we use CorelDraw a lot. The full Wilcom is totally outside our budget - at the moment!

Anyway, all responses gratefully received.

Regards
Wayne and Anita

Yeah unfortunately digitizing software is expensive, I used to use pulse which is 10,000$...crazy. Hopefully someone here can recommend something cheaper of good quality. Oh, and welcome to the forum.
