legal disclaimers for your web site
I was wondering if anyone knows what a person would have to do to make his disclaimer legal. I just started my online digitizing business and dont wanna get in trouble if someone has me digitize a copywrited or trademarked design that is not legally theres. Is a disclaimer on the page enough, should i get it notorized, should i spend money to talk to a lawyer..... someone please advise me on this! Thanx in advance!

Hi travis.
My experrience says you should have your disclaimer written on your website as well as you should be sending the disclaimer with each of your designs. You can attach a TXT file if you wish. That makes sure your disclaimer is with all your work and everywhere you can think of. Hope that helps. |

I'm not sure most disclaimers really do much for you legally, but they may help you deal with an irate customer.
