that is a loaded question. it depends on your experiences. what programs do you work in now? do you have embroidery experience? have you digitized before? How many designs a week do you plan to do a week? how much money do you want to invest? best for some is not best for others.

the diference of embird and wilcom is in the stitch generation engine wilcom will give you a much better stitch. and so will pulse and wings xp. also the tools to do more artistict digitizing are better in the more profesional softwares. also when you spend @$10,000 or more for your software what would take 1hr can now be done in 15min. time is money in business but only if you have work to fill the time saved.
